CSR Activities

Your FM has been regularly taking initiatives to help and support the society at large in Bahrain.

CSR activities like Joy of Giving is one such initiative undertaken in association with Lulu Hypermarket wherein food packets are distributed every year to the needy people at the time of iftaar during the holy month of Ramadan.

As part of the World Food Day celebrations, Your FM took up an initiative of Food For All activity in association with Lulu Hypermarket , Royal Charity Organisation and MWPS; through which the needy people were handed over 11kg of food each including rice, pulses, flour, oil and juices.

We know how during the summer season, it gets very difficult to work for long hours especially at construction sites. During this time, water is one ingredient that helps ease out the strain while working under the sun. Keeping this in mind Your FM undertook an activity in association with Pepsi Co. to distribute water for the needy, completely free of charge.

Upon the request from RCO, Your FM had informed the listeners about the Bahrain-Nepal Support Committee to coordinate Bahrain’s aid to Nepal in the form of cash as well as dry rations.

Your FM has been regularly supporting the concerned Authorities in Bahrain in conveying relevant information to the listeners. Like, the station had extended its support for over a month while talking about the new traffic rules in Bahrain.

Later, upon the request from MTT, Your FM ran an extensive campaign to generate awareness regarding the New Public Transport system (Red Bus) launched in Bahrain in March 2015 and continues to update the listeners about latest developments like the Bahrain Bus App launch in 2017.

The Capital Municipal Council's campaign to spread awareness on becoming responsible residents of Bahrain has been conducted on Your FM in 2017, encouraging people to keep the public places clean and use resources responsibly.

Your FM ran a long term campaign to spread the message of Amnesty amongst the expatriates in Bahrain. It was conveyed in multiple languages which resulted in an unprecedented response recognised by the Indian Embassy and Bahrain authorities.
